INTERNSHIP AND VOLOUNTEERS

OBTAIN UP TO 3 CFU HELPING OUT AT THE LUCCA FILM FESTIVAL

For all the university students from the Art and Communication Sciences course in Pisa University (Discipiline dello Spettacolo e della Comunicazione): the Festival offers the possibility to do work experience and, starting this year, to obtain up to 3 course credits counted as the general activities section, by presenting a certificate of attendance (to be delivered to the administrative offices).

At the beginning of September all info will be published on the course website: http://disco.humnet.unipi.it/ .

Students doing work experience cannot obtain the 3 credits.

 

UNIVERSITY INTERNSHIP

The Lucca Film Festival has an agreement with some of the faculties from Pisa, Florence and Bologna univerisities.

According to these collaborations the Festival, for it’s tenth edition (28th September – 3rd October 2014), is looking for interns to help prepare for the event.

The work experience involves:

  • Research and pre-selection of the short films for the short film competition

  • Translation and subtitles

  • Management of national and international relations with the artists

  • Management of social media communications

  • Support for management and production of the David Lynch exhibition

  • Assistance for the Festival’s guests

  • Organizing in the administrative office before and during the Festival.

 

The internship begins with a general interview, after this it will take place in the intern’s own home and in the center of Lucca throughout the Festival where the events will take place.

Interns must have general IT knowledge.

The internship can take place from June 2014 onwards.

The hours and shifts will be established based on personal and organizational requirements.

 

VOLOUNTEERS

There is also the possibility to take part in the Lucca Film Festival as an unpaid volounteer, with a certificate from the Vi(s)ta Nova association.

The tasks and assignments for the volounteers will be established by the Art Management department at the Festival.
