Synopsis
In Normandy, France, in the summer of 1944, 10 year-old Chloé kills a bird – and her grandmother punishes her. Hurt and confused, Chloé starts to believe that her grandmother is secretly a witch.
As night falls and the sounds of war draw uncomfortably near, Chloé’s imagination starts playing tricks on her, turning her childlike game into something more sinister. The clear light of dawn tells the whole story and reveals the brutal consequence of Chloé’s innocent fantasy.
