Synopsis:
Mentre si prende cura del padre malato, il diciassettenne Marcus ha solo pochi giorni per consegnare il cortometraggio necessario per candidarsi alla scuola di cinema dei suoi sogni. Perso tra il senso di colpa per lasciare il padre da solo e il desiderio di vivere la propria vita, Marcus si dedica anima e corpo alle riprese. Ma, ben presto, la malattia del padre lo costringe a rivedere le sue priorità.
While caring for his sick father, Marcus, 17, has only a few days left to submit the short film needed to apply for his dream film school. Lost between the guilt of leaving his father alone and the desire to live his own life, Marcus throws himself into his shoot. But soon, his father’s illness brings him back to his role of caregiver.

Sinossi/Synopsis:
Per errore Daniel Van den Berg viene dichiarato morto dal sistema pensionistico e smette di ricevere la pensione. Per dimostrare di essere ancora vivo deve affrontare una serie di procedure assurde e così quello che sembrava un compito semplice, ovvero raccogliere i documenti necessari e presentare la richiesta, diventa ben presto sempre più irritante. Daniel vuole solo essere ascoltato, ma negli uffici del palazzo governativo nessuno sembra davvero disposto ad aiutarlo. Nonostante la montagna di scartoffie, Daniel non si arrende. Riuscirà a dimostrare di non essere morto?
Daniel Van den Berg is wrongfully declared dead in the pension system and no longer receives a pension. To prove that he is still alive he has to go through all kinds of absurd steps. But what seems like a simple matter of collecting the required documents and making a case becomes increasingly irritating. Daniel just wants to be heard, but it seems no one really wants to help him in the offices of the government building. Despite all the exhausting paperwork, Daniel does not give up. Will he manage to prove that he is not dead?
