Lucca Film Festival 2023

Last week the town of Lucca presented to the Chamber of deputies the most important city festivals of 2023, this include us. Currently what you can do is to save the dates in your agenda!

The Lucca Film Festival will be held from September 23 to October 1 2023.

For now, as you can imagine, we can’t reveal you anything about the programme. What we can tell you is that it will be a Festival under the banner of important film celebrations, whose inescapable anniversaries occur in 2023. Among these: the 70th and 60th anniversary of “I vitelloni” and “8 1/2” by Federico Fellini, of “The Leopard” by Luchino Visconti and of “Dr. Strangelove” by Stanley Kubrick. Not to mention the 50th anniversary of “The exorcist” by William Friedkin and of “Day for Night” by François Truffaut.

The ideal setting of these celebrations will also be, as always, Lucca Effetto Cinema.

Stay tuned! It will be a big event at which there will be, as per usual, no shortage of international guests.
